Position Summary:

HUB Financial Inc., Canada’s largest Life Insurance Managing General Agency is looking for a dynamic National Marketing Specialist (13 month contract) working out of our Woodbridge, Ontario office.  The ideal candidate for this role is someone with great time management, organizational and communication skills.  The successful candidate will have a strong responsiveness, with proven attention to detail and a dedicated team player approach.  This position reports directly to the Manager, National Marketing and is responsible for:


National Call Campaigns:

    • Contacting advisors via telephone
    • Coordinating follow up’s with Broker Development Specialists

Provide sales support at a national level:

    • Attend RVP meetings and work with National Marketing Manager to capture to do items as well as assist in developing and executing plans
    • Assist in building plans to roll out processes that are working well in one region into the others
    • Manage any national sales campaigns and work with the regional teams to promote
    • On-going training and mentoring of Sales Assistants across the country
    • Bring ideas to better support regions to National Team

Assist in the completion of requests and/or inquiries received in the Brokers Inbox:

    • New advisor set ups and reactivations – access to HUBLink, My Insurance/Investment Office & HUBMail
    • Assist with any login or access issues
    • Updating of content on HUBLink
    • Email communications to advisors via CRM
    • Provide guidance and navigation support to advisors on HUB’s website and corresponding systems
    •  Prepare illustrations for substandard insurance policies and/or basic term quotes for advisors (as needed)
    • Updating and maintaining carrier software on Citrix and downloadable versions on HUBLink

Other duties as assigned including assisting in the completion of various projects related to national marketing

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma

  • 1-2 years  of sales, marketing and/or administrative experience required

  • LOMA or other industry related certification considered an asset

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as proficiency with computer systems and overall tech savvy

  • Ability to multitask, effectively time manage and exercise initiative while completing tasks

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Customer focused and a strong team player with a positive attitude
